Program of Studies

Southington High School is a comprehensive high school that offers a variety of courses across all of our academic departments. Our mission is for all students to have a plan that supports their college and/or career goals so they can experience post-graduation success. The career pathways approach guides students to identify personal interests and strengths that can be supported through one of our 11 Career Pathways. Students can enter and exit pathways based on their unique educational journey through Southington High School. Students will have an opportunity to select and/or update their pathway at course registration each school year. All of the SHS pathways provide students with course work and learning experiences that support the 21st century skills outlined in our Vision of the Graduate.
